AGRA in Ethiopia
The Alliance for a Green Revolution in Africa (AGRA) is working to help Ethiopia meet its agricultural potential.
AGRA's integrated programs and partnerships work across the food
value chain to support smallholder farmers and help transform Ethiopian
agriculture into a highly productive, sustainable and competitive
system. AGRA programs develop and distribute high-yielding improved
seeds to smallholder farmers; support efforts to develop private sector
seed production capacity; support the training of a new generation of
crop scientists; and work to increase Ethiopia's agricultural
policy-making capacity.
